Cloud Computing

Cloud Computing is IT services made available to users, but not located on the user’s premises. Software, Operating Systems and Infrastructure are accessed via the internet. Consumers benefit from regular, ongoing payment plans instead of expensive capital outlays. There are three Cloud Computing models:

• Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). The IaaS layerinvolves outsourcing the equipment used to support operations, including storage, hardware, servers and networking components.
• Platform as a Service (PaaS). The PaaS layer delivers operating systems and associated services over the Internet without downloads or installation.
• Software as a Service (SaaS). In the SaaS layer, applications are hosted by a vendor or service provider and made
  available to customers over a network, typically the Internet. SaaS examples include customer relationship management or email as a service.
